Cor Jan Willig and Rob Koghee founded New Skool Media, acquiring 19 special interest magazine brands. In 2016, they expanded the publishing business with the acquisition of six other multimedia brands. The portfolio now consists of 19 nationally known, special interest brands, including Fiets, EWMagazine, Beleggers Belangen, Columbus, KnipMode, Vorsten, KIJK and delicious.

New Skool Media X Cycle Travel = BIKE Travel
Starting in 2022, Cycle Travel will work exclusively with New Skool Media regarding the organization of cycling trips under some of New Skool Media's brand labels. These include for Fiets Magazine, Procycling and women's magazine Pedala. This will be launched under the name FIETS Travel.
